Hi Guys,

I've been playing about with PPL again.

Please let me know if this does or does not work on your system - Just another thing that PPL can now do! :)

Either way, let me know what configurations you are using.

(I want as many people to try this as possible)

Ta

Mike.

Well, I downloaded and ran it. Unfortunately that's as far as I can get because I don't have a camera in my machine at work. I will try again when I get home.

I tried this on my wife's laptop that has a built in camera, and it works great! Once again you've done an excellent job, Mike.

Great, so for once it actually works on someone elses machine! rofl.

Just another thing that I thought was missing from PPL! :)

Will try and get this working on smartphone/pda now so that is universally useful to others.

Thanks for testing it Eric!:D

(If anyone else wants to test this, then it is not only for WEBCams. It should also work for any video capture device that used WDM drivers) - It uses the AVICAP32.DLL library so should be able to use as many devices as attached to your machine. - Do you think we could now see a PPL video suite? ha ha

HHHMMM,

I see there have been 125 views of this thread, but only 1 reply.

Thats great. Does it mean that the Webcam extention for PPL works on everybody;s hardware?

Or does it mean that no one can be bothered to reply? :(

Some times I wonder if its worth keeping all my code and ideas to my self!

Any comments will do even if they are 'Its rubbish man!'

Thanx - Mike.

My webcam is shall we say not at its best right now so I can't test this but just wanted to reply to show that we do take an interest in shared code and I am sure, like myself, others do appreciate the hard work that is put in by yourself and certain others
