PPL version 1.0 release date announced!

Finally, after almost 2 1/2 years in development, it's official now, PPL will be released Thursday, September 14th 2006.

PPL 1.0 will be available in Lite (Free), Standard (39.95$USD) and Pro (79.95$USD). The introduction prices will be effective from that date for about*2 months, then regular prices will be applied.

The SDK will be delayed a bit so we can finish the Delphi and Visual Basic units.

Regular patches will be released (as you know us) to insure stability and new features will be included. The Lite version won't be updated as frequently, only for major bug fixes.

Celebration, champagne, late nights*and a bad headache are all schedule for that week! Hope you will buy it in great numbers therefore insuring a nice future for this nice product.

I'll make sure to save a "bad headache" for that week, so i cold join the celebrations! (Did I miss something?). Nothing more to say than this: CONGRATULATIONS! It's great to see a man's project becoming alive! Now I do have a project: save some money!!!!

Just a last question: for the poor people living in europe, have you considered the option of a downloadable product? I mean: the shipping would kill me! :)

It will be downloadable only. No shipping. The manual is online. So it will be available wordwide at no extra shipping cost.

I might have a printed version of the manual around December but nothing is sure yet.
