Hello,

Following the example of the database in the manual (page 107).
- Where is "Data" in the menu?
- When I right click the db line in the PM I can select Create Database and nothing happens.
- Can't use an existing .sql database, can't populate fields.
- Also the info in the pop up window of the component PDatabase doesn't work.

Do I miss something?

It looks like you don't have access to the database features. Look for a file called keyfile.dat in the My Documents\PPL2 folder. Try deleting it and restart PIDE2. This should re-create it.

The file keyfile.dat is recreated after restart and new project.
No changes in the db features however.

i read this thread, and it looks like the problem described is the same problem i have with my installation.

BUT: there was no update on friday, as you gave as a reply.

So, what to do? Again, waiting?

Yes waiting... Sorry. I won't give any release date from now on, it just makes people angry when I cannot meet the deadline.
