Nothing works! :-(

I know you have not much time because of your hrad work, and i respect what you do!

But i am feeling like an betatester...

This week i got an email from arianesoft, with the info that PPL2.1 is out...great i thought and tried to update.
I wondered, there is no update. So i decided to complete deinstall PPL2 Base, Mobile SDK and CleverUpdate, i thought of an corrupt installation-file or so...I said to me, just let me install it complete new.

So....the result is:
I have bought PPL Base and MobileSDK, there is no update to get (PPL2.1) and i am not able to install the MobileSDk again.
I have no option in CleverUpdate to install the MobielSDK. Just copied the *.pvi to the folder of PPL2 in ProgrammFiles and in My Documents and copied it to the CleverUpdate-Folder in ProgrammFiles.

Now nothing! works.

I now that it´s not easy waht you are doing, i am an developer too, but could you just be honest and tell the people: "hey, you can play with it if you want, but i am sorry, we have not finished yet" and give them an open beta...

You know, i have waited for PPL2 and now i am so unhappy with it!
This is not funny.

Now i have to smoke a cigarette, in order not to become too angry.

Please tell me about the roadmap (so that i don´t have to wait and look every day) and how i can get a new complete installation of my PPL2 incl. Mobile SDK.

First of all, PPL 2.1 is in BETA testing as we speak, it has NOT been released.

Second, 2.1 will be a substential update, that will fix most of the rough edges of 2.0.

Third, Windows Mobile will work without issues in 2.1.

Fourth, a cigarette will kill you in the end my friend! ;)

Fifth, the pvi files are not installed in the right place in 2.0, this is fixed with 2.1.

Please give us a little bit more time... We are honest with you guys, I don't know how we can be more honest. We understand the frustration but we are not super-humans and there are only 24 hours in a day, we are doing our best.

I believe that posting in the forums with aggression towards us won't help the product's sales and won't keep ArianeSoft alive for very long at this pace. Sorry, PPL 2.0's release was a disaster but now we have to live with it all. If at least I would make money with PPL that would help things but right now I am not sure what to do...

So i will wait...can you please give me a time how long...1 week, 2 weeks or something like this?

And please tell me, why did i then got an email from arianesoft within the release of PPL2.1???

The email stated that PPL 2.1 was released in BETA and a release is near. It never said it was released. Our beta releases are internal and not public. You probably confused released in BETA as public beta.

So, this sounds to me, it´s out...

But it´s not released...ok...

I am going to holidays in one week and will see what happens after holidays ;)

Keep on going, i hope for the update and hope it will be released after or during my holidays :)
