Hi,

since a few days (after installing 1.25) I can not start the PIDE in Windows XP.

After doubleclicking the icon I get the error message:
" 6.Thbe runtime might not support all features used by this program, the program might not work properly!"

after pressing o.k., the same error message appears a second time.
Ater pressing o.k. the second time, I get the error:
APP: FLIST.PPL
File: fliste.ppc
Proc: Main
Opcode: CARRAYTOLIST
CAR/Line/Offset: 0,0,0x00fa23c0
(MAIN)
Acces violation at 0x409928.

I have deinstalled the complete ppl and installed it a second time without any success.

Can anybody help me?

Does anybody klnow, wether the software works with windows vista??

thanks
guenter

Please try to delete all .ppc files that are left in the PPL installation folder and re-install PPL. This should solve the problem.

Don't forget to re-register the runtimes too.

Thanks, after doing your "tips" the pc is runnig perfekt.

But, I have the same problem with my pda - I can not install the newest version of ppl.
If I do it with active sync, I get an error.

If I do it with copying the ini and the cab file to the pocket pc, I can install without problems an earlier version of ppl. but if I try to install the latest version on this way, the installation will run any time, until I break with a reset.

My pocket PC is an Fujitsu-Siemens Loox N560 with windows mobile 5.

Do you have also a good idea for this problem?

thanks

Try the manual installation procedure:
