Default Touch Screen Issue

I have noticed that if you hold the stylus on the screen e.g. dragging it in a game api application or game, it reduces the frame rate by a significant amount.

I know this is not strictly a PPL issue as this happens on commercial games too, However, I played a demo of a game called moonchild on the same PDA today, and this game involves dragging with the stylus and the game doesn't slow whatsoever.

So my question is.....Is this a GAPI / PocketFrog issue that cannot be resolved, or is it some kind of internal PPL system message checking that could be?

More of a question than a bug although if it could be changed it would be fantastic.

maybe it would be useful to able to alter the frequeny how often the movement event is triggered?
wouldn't that speed it up, if i check stylus position less often?
